Phong Pham began his first season as CCSF’s head women’s water polo coach in Fall 2015. He was named the first head coach in program history in June 2015. Pham played intercollegiate water polo at the University of California, Davis and has been the head women’s swimming coach at CCSF since 2010.
Pham’s previous water polo coaching experience includes three years at the club-age group level. As the head women’s swimming coach at CCSF since 2010, Pham guided the Rams to three top 3 team conference finishes. In only 6 seasons, he developed 2 Junior College All-Americans, 1 AcademicAll-American, 3 state championships qualifiers and 9 individual event conference champions.
In the inaugural season, the CCSF Women’s Water polo Team had 17 players on the roster and won its first season game at the DeAnza Mini Tournament and finished the season with 5 players earning All-Conference honors, including 2 Second Team All-Conference and 3 Honorable Mention.
