Rams snap losing skid with 3-1 win at San Jose

SAN JOSE – A three-match losing streak finally came to an end after the City College of San Francisco women's volleyball team defeated San Jose City College 3-1 in a Coast Conference North Division match at SJCC on Friday.

CCSF quickly took the first two sets of the contest by scores of 25-14 and 25-17. The Rams couldn't pull off the sweep as they were edged 24-26 in the third. Set 4 proved to be a battle that CCSF was able to pull out by a narrow 27-25 margin to secure the match victory.

The Rams improved to 7-11 overall and 1-3 in Coast Conference play. CCSF is back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 25) when it hosts Monterey Peninsula College in a 6:30 p.m. conference match.
