Rams surge to fourth straight win with sweep of Las Positas

SAN FRANCISCO – City College of San Francisco continued its impressive stretch of play on the court. On Friday, the Rams rolled to their fourth consecutive victory, a dominating 25-13, 25-7, 25-7 win over visiting Las Positas College.

It was CCSF's second straight sweep as the Rams improved to 4-8 overall.

The Rams were efficient on offense, hitting .433 for the match while making just 7 attack errors. Ologa Iyani Siolo led the way with 14 kills while Katheryn Chen and Amara Simeona Tafaoga Banez both contributed 6 kills each.

Chen had 10 digs to lead CCSF while Joanna Alexis Faataui totaled a match-high 26 assists, to go with 6 digs, and 2 aces.

The Rams will look to keep the momentum going when CCSF and Las Positas face off again in their next match on Wednesday (Sep. 27) in Livermore at 6:30 p.m.
