The City College of San Francisco women's volleyball team opens their CCCAA NorCal round one playoff match at Folsom Lake Falcons this Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Rams come into this match with a record of 18-8 and finished second in the competitive Coast-North Conference with a 9-3 record. The Rams closed the regular season having won six of their last seven games.

The Rams offense will be led by the sister-tandem of freshman Zellia Quarters-Styles and sophomore Jennifer Quarter-Styles. The two outside hitters finished one and two on the team in kills. Zellia finished the year with 354 kills (no.9 in CCCAA) and Jennifer finished with 326 kills (no.15 CCCAA). Sophomore Lepepaina Malieitulua and freshman Allysha Seuteni finished tied for third with 123 kills.

Setting up the Rams' attacks will be sophomore Pamela Dungo. Dungo paced the team with 831 assists, which ranked her eighth overall in the state. Freshman Isabella Aguilar-Montenegro finished second on the team with 91 assists.

All year the Rams' defense received contributions from up and down their lineup. Malieitulua paced the team in digs with 244, followed by Zellia and Jennifer who finished with 234 digs and 232 digs, respectively. Pacing the team in blocks was Seuteni, who finished the regular season with 39.

Folsom Lake closed their regular season with a 22-4 record and finished third in the Big 8 Conference with at 13-3 record.

The Falcons offense will be led by sophomomre Kylie Haverson, who finished the regular season sixth in the state with 379 Kills, and sophomore Samantha Hegseth, who finished with 832 assists.

This matchup figures to be a battle between CCSF's offense and Folsom Lake's defense. CCSF finished 11th in the state with 1131 kills and their 13.31 kills was the third-highest total. The Falcons' 1681 digs were seventh in the state, and the they finished 11th in total blocks with 172.

CCSF and Folsom Lake last played September 8. The Falcons defeated the Rams 3-0 at CCSF.
