The City College of San Francisco volleyball team bounced back from last weekend's loss with a convincing 3-0 win against the College of San Mateo Bulldogs (4-12) yesterday at CCSF.

The Rams (13-5 overall) are now 2-1 in the Coast-North Conference and are tied for third place with Hartnell College.

CCSF dominated CSM, winning in three sets with scores of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-19. Leading the way for the Rams' offense were outside hitters Zellia Quarters-Styles and Jennifer Quarters-Styles. The dynamic sister-combo led the Rams in kills with 15 kills and 13 kills, respectively. Lepepaina Malieitulua finished third on the team with five kills followed by Takori Coleman's four kills. Setting up most of the scores for the Rams' attack was Pamela Dungo who assisted on 35 points. Dunno has 438 assists on the year.

The Rams' back row were key in limiting CSM's scoring opportunities. Most of the time their attacks were met by freshman Isabella Aguilar-Montenegro, who had a team-high 11 digs. Malieitulua finished second with eight digs.

The Rams host Monterey Peninsula on October 13. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
