City College of San Francisco women's tennis standout Ariel Xu can add another accolade to an impressive 2024 season.

On Thursday, the sophomore was named All-American by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Xu ended the season ranked among the state's top 10 to earn the 3C2A ITA All-American honors.

Just last month, Xu was honored by the ITA as the Region I Sophomore Player of the Year.

Xu helped lead CCSF to a Coast Conference Championship this season and qualified for the State Championships as an individual and in doubles. During the regular season, she knocked off state No. 1 ranked and eventual singles state champion Nareen Cheam of American River College.  

Xu is a native of Guangzhou, China.
