Rams continue to improve at LPC Hawk Invitational

LIVERMORE – The City College of San Francisco women's swim & dive team continued its push towards the postseason, competing at the two-day Las Positas College Hawk Invitational.

The Rams continue to show improvement as they look to post qualifying times for the upcoming 3C2A State Championships in early May.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Serawit Ezra, Sophia Tran, Lian Mar, and Sarah Tanabe posted a new season-best time in the event while the 400-yard medley relay squad of Ezra, Tran, Tanabe, and Brianna Carino shaved over 8 seconds off its best time this season at the event.

The 400 medley relay is currently ranked 10th in the state while the 200 medley relay is 16th.

Ezra and Tanabe also competed for the first time in the 400-yard individual medley and swam well.

The Rams have just one more meet before competing at the Coast Conference Championships. CCSF will be at the Chabot College Last Chance Invitational on April 6.
