The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the City College of San Francisco women's soccer team after the Rams wrapped up a historic 2024 season.
On Tuesday, CCSF was ranked No. 4 in the final United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division III National Poll after closing with a 17-3-3 overall record. The Rams advanced to the 3C2A State Championships for the first time since 2013 and captured their 10th Coast Conference title in program history with an 8-1-2 record.
During the season, CCSF earned victories over six schools that were ranked in the final United Soccer Coaches Top-20 National Poll.
The Rams also racked up the individual postseason honors, led by sophomores Arpan Bahia and Paige Pineda-Aliamus.
Just last week, the two Rams' standouts were named to the 2024 Junior College Division III All-America team by United Soccer Coaches. This came days after the pair both were selected to the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSCA) All-State and All-Northern California teams.
CCSF head coach Jeff Wilson was honored as Coast Conference North Division Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his eight-year tenure as part of 19 postseason conference awards received by the Rams.
Along with Wilson, the Rams took top honors including Pineda-Aliamus being named the Coast Conference North Division Player of the Year, Bahia selected as Defender of the Year, and Sydney Grundland Lanuza honored as Freshman of the Year. Additionally, the Rams had seven first-team All-Coast Conference North Division selections, four second-team honorees, and four recognized as honorable mention.
