
SARATOGA – Sophomore Paige Pineda-Aliamus scored a goal and had 2 assists to help lead City College of San Francisco to a 3-0 Coast Conference win at West Valley College on Tuesday.
CCSF extended its winning streak to nine games as the Rams improved to 9-1-1 overall and 3-0 in the Coast Conference North Division standings.
Pineda-Aliamus set the tone early for the Rams, scoring in the third minute of the assist from Ivon Escuen to give CCSF a quick 1-0 lead.
The Rams held that lead into halftime before breaking the game open in the second half. Rhiana Gordon knocked in a goal off of Pineda-Aliamus' first assist in the 57th minute. And Angelina St. Denis closed out the victory with her goal in the 68th minute thanks to another assist from Pineda-Aliamus.
Bailey Perales put together another impressive outing in goal, posting 4 saves to earn the Rams' fifth straight shutout and seventh of the season.
The Rams are back in action on Friday (Oct. 18) when they travel to Evergreen Valley College for a Coast Conference game.
