SAN FRANCISCO – Sophomore Paige Pineda-Aliamus recorded a hat trick with three goals to help lead City College of San Francisco to a 4-2 non-conference win over visiting American River College on Friday.

CCSF, 3-1-1 overall, has now won three straight since opening the season with a tough tie and narrow loss.

Pineda-Aliamus, the 2023 Coast Conference North Division Freshman of the Year, is looking to continue where she left off last year. Her three goals in today's contest gives her five on the season.

She got the Rams on the board first to give her squad a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute. And with the score tied 2-2, Pienda-Aliamus scored the go-ahead goal in the 55th and added some insurance to complete the hat trick with her final goal in the 88th.

Nare Avetian knocked in her first goal of the season in the 43rd minute.

CCSF will look to keep the momentum going on Tuesday (Sep. 17) when the Rams travel to Santa Rosa Junior College for a 4 p.m. non-conference game.
