No. 6 Rams surge to seventh straight win with 10-0 rout at Ohlone

FREMONT – Alexandra Arouxet Jara, Maleah Evans, and Fiorella Kennedy all scored two goals each to help lead City College of San Francisco to a 10-0 Coast Conference North Division win at Ohlone College on Tuesday.

CCSF, ranked No. 6 in the nation by United Soccer Coaches, won its seventh consecutive game to improve to 9-2-1 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play. Over the seven-game streak, the Rams have outscored their opponents by an impressive 33-3 margin.

The Rams led 4-0 at halftime, getting a pair of goals from Evans (4th, 11th minutes), and single goals from Iliana Sanchez (22nd), and Joelle Fong-Pedrosa (41st).

CCSF continued the attack in the second. Nare Avetian opened it up with a goal in the 46th before Kennedy put in the first of her two goals in the 48th minute. Arouxet Jara tallied consecutive goals in the 49th and 51st minutes to put CCSF up 8-0.

Kennedy scored in the 67th and Yuridia Corona closed out the scoring with her goal in the 86th minute.

Arouxet Jara was credited with three assists while Avetian added two assists.

Elaina Gonzalez and Kaila Calma split time in goal for the Rams to post the shutout, their fifth straight and seventh of the season.

CCSF will have a week off until its next contest. The Rams return to action next Tuesday (Oct. 25) when they travel to Evergreen Valley College for a 1:30 p.m. Coast Conference North Division game.
