FOLSOM – Another impressive City College of San Francisco women's basketball season came to a sudden close with the Rams 60-56 loss at Folsom Lake College in Round 3 of the Northern California Regional Playoffs on Saturday.

The No. 5-seeded Rams got off to a good start, going ahead 20-12 against No. 4 Folsom Lake after the first quarter. But CCSF was held to just 8 points in the second, which would prove to be the difference in the contest.

Madison Thomas scored a game-high 22 points while Deonna Mayfield added 12.

CCSF wrapped up the season with a 21-8 overall record and won its eighth straight Coast Conference North Division championship with an 8-2 mark under head coach Derek Lau.
