No. 9 CCSF cruises to 11th straight win, rout Las Positas 112-36

SAN FRANCISCO – Talo Li-Uperesa scored a game-high 28 points to help lead No. 9 state-ranked City College of San Francisco to a 112-36 Coast Conference North Division victory over visiting Las Positas College on Friday night.

The Rams jumped out to a 38-11 lead after the first quarter and built up a 69-17 advantage at halftime.

Li-Uperesa nearly had a triple-double. She added 9 rebounds and 7 steals while posting 4 blocks.

Riana Lee had 18 points off the bench, Amira Lama totaled 11 points and 8 boards while Amelia Sinclair, Deonna Mayfield, and Teuila Tuiasosopo all scored 9 points each.

Earlier in the week, CCSF posted another lopsided victory at home with an 84-23 win over Monterey Peninsula College on Monday.

Lee scored a game-high 18 points, Tuiasosopo added 17 points, and Li-Uperesa had 12 points.

CCSF improved to 19-4 overall with the wins. San Francisco leads the Coast Conference North Division with a perfect 6-0 record. The Rams are back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 1) at 5 p.m. when they travel to Chabot College.
