No. 6 CCSF closes out non-conference schedule with back-to-back wins

SAN FRANCISCO – No. 6 state-ranked City College of San Francisco closed out 2022 and its non-conference schedule with a 70-52 rout over visiting Feather River College on Friday night. The victory came a day after an 81-63 win against West Hills College Lemoore on Thursday.

The Rams head into Wednesday's (Jan. 4) Coast Conference North Division opener at Las Positas College with a 12-4 overall record.

Sophomore Talo Li-Uperesa totaled 42 points over the two contests, leading CCSF with 23 points against West Hills while putting up 19 points vs. Feather River.

Amira Lama posted 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in the Feather River win. Rianna Lee added 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists while Deonna Mayfield contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Lama had another solid game against West Hills as she totaled 16 points, 7 steals, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jaden Roan came off the bench to score 7 points while Nicolette Mailangi added 6 points and a team-high 8 rebounds and Stacy Angel-Haro chipped in with 6 points as well.

With the start of the conference schedule, the Rams will be looking to capture their seventh straight Coast title.
