After beating Skyline College in what was technically a non-conference game, back on December 22nd, City College of San Francisco women's basketball were handed their first Coast Conference loss of the year by those very same Trojans on Friday, losing at home in overtime 70-64.

Before Friday's defeat, the Rams were able to win their Conference Opener last Wednesday, beating Chabot on the road in a 69-68 thriller. Vivian Woo was able to lead the way with 19 points, while Errayanna Hatfield was right behind her with 17 points and 9 rebounds.

In the overtime loss to Skyline, it was Hatfield who lead all scorers with 26 points, while also pulling down 7 rebounds. Vivian Woo and Jayden Benitez had 12 and 11 points apiece. All three players are averaging over 10 points per game so far this season.

At 11-6 overall and 1-1 in conference play, City will host 12-8 San Mateo in a battle of two evenly-matched teams. The Bulldogs have won 7 of their last 10 contests and are averaging 60 points per game this season as a team.

The Rams, meanwhile, are averaging 61.4 points per game.
