SAN FRANCISCO – Xavier Alexander Elder and Isaac Borrayo both scored while David Gallegos posted a shutout to help lead City College of San Francisco to a 2-0 Coast Conference win over visiting Gavilan College on Friday.

The Rams snapped a brief two-game losing streak to improve to 9-6 overall and 4-5 in the Coast Conference North Division standings.

After a scoreless opening half, Elder recorded his team-leading 11^th goal of the season thanks to the assist from Bryan Hernandez in the 57^th minute. Borrayo iced the victory with his unassisted goal in the 74^th minute.

Gallegos made just 2 saves in earning the shutout, the Rams' fifth of the season.

CCSF is back in action on Tuesday (Nov. 5) when the Rams travel to Ohlone College for a 4 p.m. Coast Conference game.
