SAN FRANCISCO – A Las Positas College goal in the fifth minute proved to be the only ball that would find the back of the net as City College of San Francisco suffered a narrow 1-0 Coast Conference loss at home on Tuesday.

Despite solid defense the rest of the way, the Rams weren't able to cash in on their scoring opportunities. CCSF was held scoreless for just the third time this season.

The loss snapped the Rams' three-game winning streak. CCSF fell to 8-5 overall and 3-4 in Coast Conference North Division standings. The Rams will look to bounce back next Tuesday (Oct. 29) when they travel to Cañada College for a 4 p.m. conference game.
