NORTHERN CALIFORNIA PLAYOFFS BRACKET

The City College of San Francisco men's soccer team returns to the playoffs for the second straight season after receiving the No. 12 seed for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs.

San Francisco is set to travel to No. 5-seed De Anza College for a first-round game in Cupertino on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.

Ticket prices for the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) postseason game are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old.

Under head coach Adam Lucarelli, CCSF compiled an 11-7-1 overall record during the regular season and finished third in the Coast Conference North Division with a 7-5-1 mark.

CCSF is looking to return to the state championships for the first time since 2018. Last year, the Rams advanced to the third round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.

De Anza enters the postseason with a 10-3-6 overall record and took second place in the Coast Conference South Division at 8-2-3.

The two conference foes will meet again for the second time this season. On Oct. 6 in San Francisco, De Anza defeated CCSF by a final score of 2-0. The winner of Saturday's contest will face either No. 4 Evergreen Valley College or No. 13 Modesto Junior College in a second-round game on Tuesday (Nov. 21).

Three wins are needed by the Rams to advance to the 3C2A State Championships on Dec. 1 & 3 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
