LAKE TAHOE – Sophomore Sergio Laguna knocked in a pair of second-half goals to help lead City College of San Francisco to a 3-0 win at Lake Tahoe Community College on Wednesday.

With the win, the Rams improved to 4-2 overall this season.

After a scoreless battle over the opening 45 minutes, CCSF came alive in the second half. Laguna scored the first of consecutive unassisted goals in the 55^th minute to give the Rams the lead. He made it 2-0 after scoring his fifth goals of the season in the 68^th minute.

Basel Al Gharabli secured the Rams' victory with his goal in the 83^rd minute off the assist from Erick Gonzalez Mejia.

Edwin Garcia earned the shutout in goal for CCSF with 5 saves. It was the Rams' third shutout of the season.

CCSF returns to action on Tuesday (Sep. 26) when the Rams open Coast Conference play at Chabot College at 4 p.m.
