Sophomore Takumi Elbert's goal in the 75th minute proved to be the game-winner in a close 1-0 City College of San Francisco win over visiting Cañada College on Friday.

The Coast Conference victory improved the Rams to 8-7-2 overall and 5-5-1 in conference play with just one game left to play.

Elbert's goal off the assist from Benito Morales would be all the offense the Rams would need as they snapped a two-game losing streak. Isaac Alvarez recorded three saves in goal to post San Francisco's ninth shutout of the season.

The Rams wrap up the 2021 season next Friday (Nov. 12) when they host Ohlone College in a 3 p.m. Coast Conference game.
