The City College of San Francisco men's soccer team defeated the Ohlone College Renegades 1-0 yesterday at Ohlone.

The Rams (6-0-2) win over the Renegades (5-5-1) pushes their winning streak to three games and are tied with Las Positas for first place in the Coast-North Conference with a 2-0-1 record.

It was all zeroes on the scoreboard for most of yesterday's match between division foes. The Rams and Renegades kept each other scoreless with strong backline play. CCSF allowed only two shots on goal with sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Bailey saving both attempts.

Rams' freshman forward Alejandro Sorto broke the scoreless tie when he struck for a goal off an assist by Alejandro Perez to put the Rams up for good. The goal was Sorto's second on the year, and first in conference competition.

The Rams will look to extend their winning streak to four games when they visit Foothill College on October 6. Game time is 4 p.m.
