NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONAL PLAYOFFS BRACKET

SAN FRANCISCO – No. 1 state-ranked City College of San Francisco closed out the regular season with a huge 102-65 blowout of visiting College of San Mateo on Friday. Last week, the Rams wrapped up the program's 14th straight Coast Conference championship.

The Rams now head to the postseason with a state-best 27-1 overall record after compiling a 13-1 mark in the final Coast Conference North Division standings.

On Sunday, the Rams were named the top seed for the upcoming 3C2A Northern California Regional Playoffs.

CCSF received a bye in the opening round and will host the winner of No. 16 Fresno City College and No. 17 Butte College in a second-round game on Saturday, March 1 at 7:00 pm. The contest will be a part of a playoff doubleheader as the Rams women's basketball team is also set to host a second-round game at 5:00 p.m.

Ticket prices for the 3C2A postseason game at Brad Duggan Court at the Wellness Center are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. Tickets can be purchased online in advance at the CCSF Tickets Page.

CCSF heads into the playoffs riding a 12-game winning streak and is 10-1 at home this season.

The Rams will look to return to the state championship tournament after coming up just short in last year's regional finals. Prior to last season, CCSF had reached eight straight state championships.

The Rams last won a state title in 2022 and have captured five in the program's history (1962, 2011, 2016, 2018, 2022).

No. 16 Fresno City has compiled an 18-10 overall record and was third in the Central Valley Conference at 11-3. No. 17 Butte is 16-12 and finished tied for third place in the final Golden Valley Conference standings at 5-5. CCSF has not faced either possible opponent yet this season.

Two wins are needed by the Rams to advance to the 3C2A State Championships on March 13-15 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
