SAN FRANCISCO – No. 1 state-ranked City College of San Francisco extended its season-opening winning steak to 10 games after the Rams won both their contests of their home tournament, the Golden Gate Classic.
CCSF opened the event on Thursday with a 94-56 victory over Feather River College and followed that with a convincing 78-56 triumph against No. 7 College of the Sequoias on Friday.
With a 10-0 record, the Rams are one of just three undefeated teams remaining in the state. Those streaks will come to an end soon as the three teams (CCSF, Las Positas, Skyline) will also face off in Coast Conference North Division play in the weeks to come.
