Rams’ season ends with narrow playoff loss; earn 10 All-Coast Conference postseason honors

SAN FRANCISCO – The 2023-24 City College of San Francisco men's basketball season officially came to a close with the Rams' 81-80 loss to Cabrillo College in Round 3 of the Northern California Regional Playoffs on Saturday night.

No. 2-seeded CCSF trailed No. 7 Cabrillo 40-35 at halftime and couldn't hold a late lead. The Rams were stopped short of reaching the state championships for the eighth straight season.

The Rams put together another solid regular season, capturing the program's 13th consecutive Coast Conference championship. CCSF went 11-1 in Coast Conference North Division play to win the title and wrapped up the season with a 24-6 overall record under head coach Justin Labagh.

Following the close of the regular season, the Rams were recognized with 10 All-Coast Conference North Division postseason honors.
