No. 8 Rams take over first in Coast North with win over No. 4 Chabot

SAN FRANCISCO – Willie Williams scored 28 points while King-Jhsanni Wilhite added 20 points to help lead No. 8 state-ranked City College of San Francisco to an 84-80 Coast Conference North Division win over visiting No. 4 Chabot College on Wednesday night.

The Rams trailed 43-36 at halftime before rallying back for the victory. CCSF has won six straight and improved to 19-5 overall. With a 7-1 record in the Coast North, the Rams now own sole possession of first place with four games remaining.

Chabot (18-6) has lost consecutive games and dropped to second place at 6-2 in the Coast North.

Wednesday night's win by the Rams also avenged an earlier loss to Chabot. The Gladiators edged CCSF 79-77 on Jan. 12.

San Francisco is back in action next Wednesday (Feb. 14) when the Rams host Ohlone College in a 7 p.m. Coast Conference North Division game.
