STOCKTON – Tournament most valuable player Te'Jon Sawyer scored a team-high 19 points to help lead City College of San Francisco to an 81-64 victory over Contra Costa College on Saturday in the championship game of the Tristan Hill Holiday Tournament at San Joaquin Delta College.

CCSF won three straight over the weekend in Stockton, extending its winning streak to five games. On Friday, the Rams cruised to an 82-62 victory over Sierra College in the semifinals and opened up the tourney with an 81-64 win against Butte College on Thursday.

Joining Sawyer on the all-tournament team for the Rams was EJ Neal.

Following the tournament win, CCSF moved back into the top spot in this week's California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA) state rankings, sharing the No. 1 position with Fullerton College.

CCSF, now 11-2 overall, returns to action on Dec. 29 with a non-conference game at home vs. College of the Siskiyous at 4 p.m.
