It's been nearly eight months since the City College of San Francisco celebrated its 2022 CCCAA State Championship title won in Lemoore over West Valley College. This year's Rams are hungry to hit the court and add another trophy to the case.

The 2022-23 Rams are the favorites to repeat and will open the season ranked No. 1 by the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA) in the Northern California Preseason Poll.

The run for back-to-back state titles begins on Friday (Nov. 4) when the Rams host the CCSF Tip-Off Classic at Brad Duggan Court. The two-day, four-team event features No. 5 Santa Rosa Junior College, No. 14 Foothill College, and College of Marin.

CCSF faces Marin at 5 p.m. followed by Santa Rosa vs. Foothill at 7 p.m. to begin play on Friday. Saturday's matchups include Marin vs. Foothill at 5 p.m. with CCSF vs. Santa Rosa closing it out at 7 p.m.

Tickets to the event are available online at the CCSF Ticket Page.

CCSF Men's Basketball will stream Friday's game vs. Marin on its YouTube channel while Saturday's contest between the Rams and Santa Rosa will be streamed by NorCal Sports TV.
