No. 1 Rams improve to 7-0 with 38-15 win at Laney

OAKLAND – Quarterback Dorian Hale and running back Tyrei Washington both had a pair of touchdown runs to help lead No. 1 state-ranked City College of San Francisco to a 38-15 Bay 6 League win at Laney College on Friday night.

The Rams remain perfect at 7-0 overall and are 2-0 in league play.

CCSF dominated the contest on the ground while the defense was just as strong, holding Laney scoreless for three quarters of the game.

Hale had touchdown runs of 40 and 20 yards. His 40-yard run gave CCSF a commanding 24-0 halftime advantage. Washington ran in from 10 and 11 yards out for his TDs.

The Rams return to action next Saturday (Oct. 28) to host Diablo Valley College in their regular-season home finale. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at George M. Rush Stadium.
