Rams come alive in second quarter to rout Fresno 45-24

FRESNO – City College of San Francisco's offense was held scoreless during the first quarter, but it didn't last long. The Rams came alive, putting up 21 points in the second on their way to a 45-24 win on the road at Fresno City College on Saturday.

CCSF had contributions from all over the field.

Quarterback Dorian Hale tossed three touchdowns. He threw for 234 yards on 21 of 32 passing with no interceptions. His top target on the day was wide receiver Max Rodarte, who hauled in 7 receptions for 136 yards. He had a pair of TD grabs in the first half for 37 and 9 yards from Hale.

Hale also threw an 18-yard TD to Jeremiah Crum in the third quarter.

And Tyrei Washington ran in for two touchdowns. He totaled 46 yards rushing on 15 carries while Nathan Iskander added a 7-yard touchdown run late in the contest.

CCSF's defense did its part in limiting Fresno City. The Rams intercepted three passes in the contest, getting INTs from Tyler Lepolo, Jalen Camp, and Garnell Wilds Jr. Rocky Katoanga led San Francisco with 9 tackles.

With the win, the Rams remain unbeaten at 4-0. They are back in action next Saturday (Sep. 30) to host Sierra College in a 1 p.m. non-conference game.
