Rams look to improve on last season, ready to kick off 2023 at Santa Rosa

A 7-4 overall record and a bowl game win by most programs would be looked at as a successful season. But to the high standards set by City College of the San Francisco, there is always work to be done to improve.

Just two years ago, the Rams compiled a perfect 13-0 record. CCSF closed out the season with a state championship victory and were named national champions for the 11th time in program history.

Although CCSF wasn't able to repeat their success in 2022, the Rams are hungry to get back to the top.

That journey begins on Saturday (Sep. 2) at 5 p.m. when they kick off 2023 at Santa Rosa Junior College's Bailey Stadium. The game will be live streamed by NorCal Sports TV on YouTube. | LIVE STREAM

Last year, the Rams and Bear Cubs met in San Francisco for the 2022 season opener with CCSF earning a 31-20 victory.

The Rams make their home debut at George M. Rush Stadium the following week on Sep. 9 when they host Sacramento City College at 1 p.m.

CCSF will also host home games against Butte (Sep. 16), Sierra (Sep. 30), San Joaquin Delta (Oct. 14), and Diablo Valley (Oct. 28). The Rams' rivalry game vs. San Mateo will once again close out the regular season and is scheduled for Nov. 11 at CSM. Kick off is 1 p.m. | 2023 SCHEDULE
