SAN FRANCISCO – Freshman Dylan Camp picked off three passes, part of a six-interception game by the City College of San Francisco defense, to help lead the Rams to a 38-14 win over visiting Chabot College on a rainy Saturday afternoon at George M. Rush Stadium.

The victory improved CCSF to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in National Bay 6 League play, creating a logjam on top of the league standings with San Mateo (8-1, 3-1) and Laney (7-2, 3-1) all tied for first place heading into next week's regular-season finale. The Rams will host San Mateo while Laney ends at Chabot (2-7, 1-3).

On Saturday, the Rams jumped out to a 21-0 lead over Chabot in the first quarter thanks to special teams and the defense and never looked back.

After forcing the Gladiators to punt on their opening drive, Matthew Eskridge II broke through the line to block the kick. Trey Cain caught the ball in mid-air at the Chabot 6-yard line and ran in untouched for the touchdown just a minute and 15 seconds into the contest.

The Rams' defense forced another three-and-out on Chabot's next drive. That led to CCSF's nine-play, 52-yard scoring drive that was capped with a nine-yard touchdown pass from Jack Miller to David Pierro. The Rams led 14-0 at the 7:21 mark.

Camp put an end to the Gladiators' next drive. On Chabot's second play, Camp came up with his first interception of the game, grabbing it at the Chabot 31-yard line and returning it for a touchdown. He went on to haul in two more interceptions, all in the first half, to spark the defense.

Garnell Wilds Jr, Jaleal Williams-Evans, Gimarion Hutons also had interceptions. CCSF totaled six sacks, including a pair by Chad Tasi Jr. Ben Onek (1.5 sacks), Nathan Cole (1 sack), Kylan Fontes (1 sack), and Andrew Woolard (0.5 sacks) all got in on the action.

Miller tossed a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter, connecting with Ryan Daly (9 yards) and Daelin DeGraffenreid (33 yards) to extend the Rams' lead to 35-7. And Joseph Oliveira kicked a 20-yard field goal in the fourth to close out the CCSF scoring.

Miller closed the game throwing for 161 yards on 13 of 30 passing with 3 TDs and an interception. Shawn Allen led the Rams on the ground, rushing for 80 yards on 15 carries. DeGraffenreid led CCSF receivers with 4 catches for 73 yards.
