The City College of San Francisco football team (3-2) defeated the Butte College Roadrunners (3-2) 37-14 last Saturday at Butte.

CCSF's winning streak is now up to three games after Saturday's dominant win over the Roadrunners.

Saturday's gridiron match was a tale of two halves. The first half saw the Rams and Roadrunners rack up 355 yards of total offense combined (Rams 190 yards, Butte 166 yards) and Butte ending the half with a 14-10 lead.  The 14 points Butte put on the scoreboard would be the last points CCSF would allow. The Rams' defense completely locked down the Roadrunners' offense in the second half, allowing only two yards of total offense. Sophomore defensive back Michael Lawson and sophomore linebacker Dallas Martin led CCSF in tackles with nine and seven tackles, respectively.

The Rams' offense reeled off 290 total yards and scored 27 second-half points against the Roadrunners. Leading the offensive charge was freshman running back Isaiah Floyd, who for the second week in the row rushed for over 200 yards. He ran for 246 yards on 26 attempts and had one rushing touchdown against the Roadrunners. His lone touchdown was a 30-yard run that tied the game 7-7 early in the second quarter.  Sophomore quarterback Zach Masoli totaled 196 passing yards and 50 rushing yards with three touchdowns (two pass, one rush). Sophomore wide out Kevin Shaa led all receivers with 121 yards including a 78-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter.

The Rams will look to push their winning streak to four when they host Diablo Valley College (3-2) on October 14. Kickoff is 1 p.m. at George Rush Stadium.
