CUPERTINO --- City College of San Francisco scored four times in the bottom of the eighth and one final time in the ninth but couldn't push across the tying run before suffering an 8-7 loss at De Anza College on Tuesday. The Rams were the designated home team for the non-conference game.

Antonio Paolinelli doubled to score Jackson Wood, Armando Garibay hit an RBI single, Angel Perez hit a sacrifice fly, and Yusef Sinada's ground out with runners on second and third also drove home a run.

The Lions got back an important run in the top of the ninth before CCSF made one final push. With two outs and runners on second and third, Perez doubled to drive in Wood. The Rams had the tying run on third but couldn't complete the comeback.

Perez went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI to lead CCSF at the plate. Sinada drove in a pair of runs and was 3 for 5.
