This week’s Ram of the Week is Sophia Tran from the CCSF women’s swimming team!

Sophia had a record-breaking weekend at the highly competitive Cuesta Invitational in San Luis Obispo. The freshman out of Washington High School won two events at the meet, taking first in the 100 and 200-meter breaststroke. Her time of 2:31.18 in the 200 breaststroke set a new school record.

According to head coach Phong Pham, she is the Rams' first individual winner at the meet since 2018.
