Rams rack up 14 All-Coast Conference women’s soccer postseason honors

Following the conclusion of another successful City College of San Francisco women's soccer regular season, the Rams were recognized by Coast Conference coaches with 14 all-conference postseason awards.

Earning top honors were freshmen forwards Leslie Murillo and Maleah Evans. Murillo was named the Coast Conference South Division Offensive Player of the Year while Evans was selected Coast Conference South Division Freshman of the Year.

Murillo led her division in scoring, totaling 16 goals and 18 assists for 50 points on the season. Evans wasn't far behind, as she totaled 34 points with 14 goals and 6 assists.

Also, head coach Jeff Wilson was honored for leading his team to another conference championship and was named the South Division Coach of the Year.

Named first-team All-Coast Conference South Division were Murillo, Evans, sophomore goalkeeper Alexia Estrada, sophomore midfielder Gabriella Rodil, and freshman defender Grace Plessinger.

Second-team All-Coast Conference South Division selections were freshman forward Alexandra Arouxet Jara, freshman forward Iliana Sanchez, and freshman defender Leilani Jara.

Recognized as All-Coast Conference South Division honorable mention were sophomore defender Alyssa Forsman, freshman defender Andrea Moreno, and freshman defender Evalani Dudum.

CCSF closed out another impressive season with a 16-4 overall record. The Rams were co-champions of the Coast Conference South Division with an 8-2 mark and made their 11th consecutive postseason appearance this year, advancing to the second round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.
