SAN FRANCISCO – City College of San Francisco wasted little time, getting a goal from Henry Estrada in the second minute, on its way to a 3-0 victory over visiting Monterey Peninsula College on Thursday.

The Coast Conference North Division win improved the No. 15 nationally-ranked Rams to 3-2 and 8-3 overall. CCSF currently sits in second place in the Coast North standings, just one point behind Cabrillo College at 3-1-1.

Estrada's goal (Joshua Abrego-Zambra assist) would prove to be all the Rams would need. But CCSF added more thanks to Georgi Stoyanov's goal in the 42nd minute (Benito Morales assist) to go into halftime with a 2-0 advantage.

Marley Babb closed out the scoring for the Rams with his goal off the assist from Mohamed Mahdee in the 65th minute.

Fernando Esobedo was solid in goal for the Rams. He totaled two saves on his way to CCSF's fourth shutout of the season.

The Rams are back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 18) at 4 p.m. when they host Foothill College in a Coast Conference North Division game.
