ROCKLIN - The offensive showcase known as City College of San Francisco men's basketball continued to roll as the Rams dominated its two games at the Sierra College George Goto Classic.
No. 1 Northern California-ranked CCSF outscored its opponents by a combined 252-96 margin at the two-day event after picking up a 112-38 win over Shasta College on Thursday and a 140-55 victory against Feather River College to close out the event on Friday.
The Rams improved to 4-0 on the season and currently lead the state by averaging 115.3 points per game.
Matt Williams III totaled 38 points over the two games to lead CCSF. He scored a team-high 18 points in the win over Shasta and added 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists against Feather River.
Te'Jon Sawyer posted a double-double in the Feather River win. He scored a team-high 21 points to go with 10 rebounds. He nearly matched the feat against Shasta with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
The Rams return to action on Thursday (Nov. 17) when they are set to compete at the two-day College of the Sequoias Giant Classic. CCSF will face its first big challenge of the season when it takes on South No. 1 Fullerton College on Thursday at 5 p.m. That is followed by Friday's game vs. Cosumnes River College at 11:30 a.m.
