The road to the state championships will go through San Francisco. On Sunday as expected, unbeaten City College of San Francisco was named the No. 1 seed for the Northern California Regional Playoffs. The Rams will host No. 4 American River College at George M. Rush Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 12 p.m.

Ticket prices for the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) postseason game at CCSF are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. Tickets are available in advance online through the CCCAA/HomeTown Ticketing page.

The game will also be broadcast live online by NorCal Sports TV.

CCSF is the lone undefeated team in Northern California at 10-0 and captured a Bay 6 League championship with a 5-0 mark. The Rams were dominant this season, outscoring their opponents by a 485-106 margin. The San Francisco offense led the state in scoring, averaging 48.5 points per game while the defense posted three shutouts and allowed just 10.6 PPG.

The Rams look to win their first state championship since 2015.

American River enters the game with a 6-4 record and went 4-1 in the NorCal League to finish tied for first. Saturday's contest will mark the second time the two teams have met. On Sept. 25 in San Francisco, the Rams cruised to a 51-14 win over the Beavers.

No. 2 College of San Mateo (9-1) hosts No. 3 Fresno City College (8-2) in the other NorCal semifinal, also at noon. The winners of Saturday's playoff games will meet on Nov. 27 in the Northern California Championship game.

In the south, No. 1 Ventura College (10-0) hosts No. 4 Riverside City College (8-2) and No. 2 Golden West College (10-0) hosts No. 3 College of the Canyons (8-2) in its regional playoffs. The CCCAA State Championship is set for Dec. 4 at the site of the Southern California champ.
