Rams win third straight to open season, sweep Skyline in home opener

SAN FRANCISCO – The City College of San Francisco women's volleyball team and new head coach Sifa Faaiu are 3-0 to open season following Wednesday's 25-11, 25-9, 25-22 sweep of visiting Skyline College in the Rams' home opener.

In three matches, CCSF has lost just one set.

Jennifer Mata'u had a solid match with 11 kills, 15 assists, 10 digs, and five aces. Anivaolegai-Moors Tafilele led the Rams with 13 kills to go along with 15 digs. V

Vanessa Semien totaled 10 kills, 10 digs, and three aces while Josie LesCallett posted a team-high 24 assists, seven digs, and four aces.

CCSF is back in action next Wednesday (Sep. 14) when the Rams travel to Skyline for a 6:30 p.m. non-conference match.
