The City College of San Francisco women's swimming & diving team was in action on Friday at the College of Marin Mariner Invite.

It was a great day of improvement as the Rams get closer to competing at next month's Coast Conference Championships. Nine Rams posted time improvements and/or season-best swims in a total of 19 events:

Evy Bree: 50 free, 100 and 200 breast
Shera Campini: 100 free
Mayee Duong: 200 free, 100 breast, 200 IM
Zoellen Eichen: 100 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM
Shannon Fracchia-Santelli: 100 and 200 breast
Sima Kassianik: 500 free
Emma McDonald: 100 free, 100 and 200 back
Melanie Poncet: 200 free, 200 IM
Reyonce Russell: 100 back

The Rams return to action on Friday (Mar. 18) at 2 p.m. when they will compete at a Coast Conference meet at Hartnell College.
