It's back to business for City College of San Francisco football head coach Jimmy Collins and his Rams.
Coming off the program's 11th national championship and ninth state title during a perfect 13-0 run in 2021, the Rams will look for a repeat performance this upcoming fall. Earlier this week, CCSF announced its 2022 schedule.
The 10-game schedule begins at George Rush Stadium with the Rams' season-opener on Sept. 3 against Santa Rosa Junior College. Kick off is set for 1 p.m.
The home schedule also includes a Sept. 24 contest against perennial Central Valley power Fresno City College, an Oct. 22 matchup vs. Laney College, and consecutive home contest to wrap up the regular season against Chabot College on Nov. 5 and rivalry game vs. College of San Mateo on Nov. 12.
The Rams open the Bay 6 League portion of its schedule at San Joaquin Delta College on Oct. 15. CCSF also plays at Diablo Valley College on Oct. 28 during its third week of league play.
Postseason action begins on Nov. 19 with the first round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs and bowl games. The Northern California Championship is set for Nov. 26 followed by the CCCAA State Championship on Dec. 10 at the home site of the North champ.
