City College of San Francisco Water Polo Team has opened up there season with a 1-3 record following last Friday’s 10-4 loss to Las Positas College on Friday at CCSF.
The Rams didn’t get on the scoreboard until the third period of playy when Julia Lane scored off an assist by Bianca Taylor. Lane led the Rams with three scores, followed by Bianca Taylor’s unassisted goal.
Heading into their next matchup against Merced College, the Rams will lean on Taylor and Lane. Both lead the team with eight goals apiece. Taylor also leads the team in assists with seven and co-leads the team in steals (11) with Ella Maisano. Maisano has also has proved to be a strong defender at the net. She has 52 saves on the year.
