Women's Track Keeps Their Quick Pace at DVC Hall of Fame Classic

The Women's Track Team has had a solid start to their 2019 season.  To date they have competed at the MPC Invitational on Saturday February 16th, in Monterey, CA as well as at the Hall of Fame Classic at Diablo Valley College this past weekend on Friday, February 22, 2019.  The coaches have stated that the athletes have been working hard and went into their races ready to give it their all.  Some highlights thus far include CCSF Lady Rams Sophomore, Lauren George, ranking #1 in Nor Cal and 4th overall in State in the 400m after winning the DVC Hall of Fame with a time of 1:00.83.  Lauren also finished 4th in the 200m dash with a time of 26.70, which seats her 4th in Northern California.  Freshman Janice Conley of Balboa High School, finished 4th in the 100m (12.89) and 4th in the 200m (27.03).  Her 200m performance places her right behind George in the Nor Cal rankings at 5th.  Hannah Ryan (Fr.) was 8th in the 3k (11:21) and the Lady Rams 4x100 and 4x400 placed 4th in the short relay, and 5th in the long at the DVC Hall of Fame CLassic. 

This weekend on March 2nd the Lady Rams are heading to the Chabot 5-way located in Hayward, CA.  Keep it up Rams!
