CCSF Tennis Off to Solid Start Before Conference Play on Tuesday

Week one is in the books and the Rams went 1-1.  
On Tuesday the Rams hit the road for the first match of the season vs. Solano College.  This match will go down in the history books as the first intercollegiate Women's Tennis match at Solano College.  The Rams were off to a hot start winning a tight match at 1 doubles.  Unfortunately they ended up losing at 2 and 3 doubles.  

Kelly Bennett carried over her good doubles play into singles.  After losing the first set she bounced back won the second set and played a 10 point tie breaker for the third set winning 10-8.  Go Rams!
On Friday in between rain storms the Rams looked to bounce back from a loss in the first round against Santa Rosa Junior College.  Both 1 and 2 Doubles jumped out to early leads and won 8-4.  
With a 3-0 match lead going into singles the Rams cruised to a 7-2 victory.  
Conference play begins Tuesday February 14th with the Rams in action vs. Chabot College at home.
