It’s an exciting weekend ahead for our Women’s Swim Team, as we gear up to host the First Annual CCSF Invitational. This invitational will be held over two days, Friday February 8 and Saturday February 9th, and will include various schools both from within and outside of our conference. Participating schools include West Valley College, Laney College, Solano College, Sierra College, Mt. San Antonio College, Foothill College, and of course, your CCSF Rams.
The Rams Invitational will be the first opportunity in the season for our athletes to swim events on back to back days, and will feature some longer distance events, including 200 yards of each stroke, the 500 yard Freestyle, along with the 1650 yard Freestyle, otherwise known as the mile.
Saturday’s portion of the event will be our final home meet of the season, so be sure to stop by the natatorium, located in the Wellness Center, to come support your Rams Swim Team.
Friday is expected to begin at 2:30pm, while Saturday has a 10:00am start time. See you at the pool!
