Rams Impressive at CCSF Quad Meet

The City College of San Francisco women's swimming team had another successful showing in their second meet of the year at CCSF last Friday.

Sophomore Ashley Davis led the way for the Rams throughout the entire CCSF Quad Meet. Her highlight performance came in the marathon-like 1,000-yard Freestyle. Davis' 11:54.79 time  was nearly a minute better than second-place finisher Sabrina Alvarez of West Valley (12:36.05). Davis also tied for second with teammate Alika Lew-Koga in the 50-yard freestyle (26.35) and finished second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.46).

The CCSF relay team of Davis, Lew-Koga, Sophia Greco, and Bianca Taylor also had strong second-place performances in the 200-yard medley relay (1:59.10) and 200-yard freestyle relay (1:49.17).

Sophomore Greco finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.82) and 100-yard backstroke (1:03.17).

The Rams travel to West Valley College this Friday for the Coast Conference Kickoff Invite that starts at 10 a.m.
