Women’s Soccer pushes win streak to three games.

The City College of San Francisco Women’s Soccer Team pushed their win streak to three games after defeating Ohlone College 2-0 on Friday at CCSF.

CCSF and Ohlone held each other scoreless going into the second half. Michelle Perez scored the game’s first goal at the 50th minute off an assist by Ileana Mercardo. The Rams added on in the 78t minute when Shaylah Youngsdale scored off an assist by Lauren Inman.

The win not only pushes their win streaks to three games, but they have also shut out three straight opponents thanks to the goal keeping play of Michelle Gonzalez. Over the last three games, she’s has totaled 13 saves.

The offense has been particularly strong during this streak, The Rams have outscored their opponents 15-0 going back to their September 15th 7-0 blowout win over Redwoods. Melisa Gardenia has scored four goals during this impressive run, while Youngsdale followed with three goals.

The Rams Travel to Ohlone on Oct. 25.
