Women's Soccer Win Streak up to 5 Games

The City College of San Francisco Women’s Soccer Team pushed their win streak to five games last week after defeating Ohlone College 1-0 on Tuesday and Hartnell College 3-2 on Friday.

The Rams had to go into overtime to defeat Ohlone 1-0 on their home field last Tuesday. The scoreless tie ended when Serena Fahey scored on an assist by Melisa Gardina.

Goalie Michelle Gonzalez save four shots on goal.

In their matchup against Hartnell, The Rams trailed 1-0 heading into the second half. Then the Rams offense kicked it into high gear with goals by Melisa Gardina (52nd min.), Ileana Mercado (63rd min.), and Carolina Cortez (83rd min.)

Gonzalez save five-of-seven shots on goal.
