SF Examiner Wrapup - Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, and Water Polo

Men’s soccer

CCSF beat Gavilan, 6-1, on Tuesday. Gian Marco Zacanaro and Tobi Oladapo each scored a pair of goals. The match marked the Rams’ second-straight victory after handling Cañada on Friday.

Women's soccer

City College of San Francisco beat Cañada, 3-0, on Tuesday. Jesse Bareilles continued her impressive season by scoring two while Daniela Gutierrez netted the other. The Rams are now 5-1-2.

Women’s volleyball

CCSF lost to defending state champion Cabrillo, 3-0, last weekend. Jennifer Quarter-Styles logged 12 kills for the Rams while Pamela Dungo distributed 21 assists. CCSF is now 10-2 overall.

Water polo

CCSF lost both of its games last week. Sophomore goalie Emily Schattenburg had 38 combined saves in the matches against College of San Mateo and Merced College. The Rams return to action today and sit at 2-2.
