Men's Soccer

The City College of San Francisco men’s soccer team is now an even 2-2 after losing to Santa Rosa on Tuesday. The defeat marked the team’s second-straight shutout after it lost to Lake Tahoe, 1-0, on Saturday. The team returns to action on Tuesday when it plays at Contra Costa College.

Women’s soccer

CCSF’s Jesse Bareilles continues to impress this season. Winning games, though, has been harder to come by. The team lost on Friday to Ventura and tied Lassen on Sunday in the Las Positas Showcase. Bareilles scored CCSF’s only goal over the two games, and netted three more last Tuesday against Solano.

Women’s volleyball

CCSF has gotten off to a hot start this season at 4-1 over its first five matches. Freshman Jennifer Quarters-Styles led the way by logging 92 kills over those contests. The Rams return to action tonight, when it takes part in the SCC Classic at Solano College.
